It's time for another roundup of #The100DayProject. I can't believe we're up to week 5, it sounds like a lot but I feel like I've done little. Maybe because this week felt like a struggle. Most days I procrastinated, in part because my attempts to mix colours from the five primary paints that I'm using (listed here) wasn't going to plan. I'm not very formulaic when it comes to creativity and I enjoy working intuitively but sometimes I wonder if this is a hindrance more than a help. Especially when it comes to mixing paint colours! It can be challenging to continue when I don't feel satisfied with what I'm making but I know that's part of the process, to push through, show up and do it any way. Sometimes these challengers are good motivators too. Anyway I'm glad I saw the week through. Putting together these roundups lets me look back and feel good about completing the week. See more weekly roundups here.
How's your project going? Are there any projects you're following that you'd like to share? Here are two focused around pantone colours that I'm enjoying; #pantone2u by They Draw & Cook, #100daypantoneproject by Lauren Wagner from the wonderful Colour Collectiove blog.
