Studio News : Originals Added to Shop Update

Hey friends, over the coming days I'll be adding the remaining original Australian animal paintings to my Etsy store. They will be released across a few listings in small batches which you can find here if you're interested in taking a closer look.

These paintings were a part of a year-long daily drawing project I completed last year on Instagram. There were thirty Australian animals in this mini series which I later made into a poster. The poster is available in three sizes and can also be found via my Etsy store, here.

Thanks for stopping by!

Studio Life : BTS

A behind-the-scenes peek at the illustrated elements that were scanned and composed to create the two images in my previous post. I don't always work this way and really enjoy illustrating the final piece a one whole however sometime this process is necessary and allows for quicker changes and updates. Thought I'd share incase you find it useful or interesting to see.

Reading, Drawing & Dreaming

This year I've made more time for reading. What I love most about reading is slowing down to a stop and entering another world. One that keeps revisiting me lately is the mountainous Lake District in James Rebanks', The Shepard's Life. For more years than I can remember I've dreamed of visiting this part of the world. Although I'm not sure I'd survive the snowy winters. What about you, what far away places do you dream of?
